Circle of Hope

"... I just hope to provide good care and hopefully ease the suffering of the one person that I have before me." - Dr. Emilie Hitron

Twice a year, a team of dedicated medical professionals travels to rural Haiti  providing hands-on routine medical care including diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases.

IMT volunteers donate personal vacation time and travel expenses to care for patients in need.

Without the International Medical Team’s annual trips, so many men, women and children might never receive the medical attention they need.

Medical Trip to HAITI

IMT volunteers returned from a week in Haiti on 9/5/11.

We were again based in Leogane and travelled daily from there to the surrounding communities, running mobile medical clinics.

Thanks to all of your generous support, we were able to hire a Haitian dentist to work with us for part of the week. He worked tirelessly, seeing 25 patients a day and relieved them of the pain they had been suffering from abscessed teeth. We also worked for several days with dentists from the George Stines Foundation, who donated their time, equipment and expertise.
